Past the holiday crowds, the ice rink and the storefront windows, Snowday and Santaland carve out a small winter world inside Galleria Dallas. It’s a brief escape from the holiday rush.

What To Expect

Santaland and Snowday are two separate experiences sharing the same immersive space. You can book either one, but our advice is to experience both.

Santaland begins the way every great Christmas story should: with a train ride powered by “Christmas magic.” The Santaland Express doesn’t move, but it feels like it does: scenic windows, sound design and the suggestion of travel. From there, you walk through an enchanted forest before reaching Santa’s chalet for a photo op and a one-on-one meet-and-greet.

Because entry is timed, the whole experience feels calm rather than chaotic.

Snowday, by contrast, is a holiday dreamscape. You wander through themed streets and sets, each one designed with tiny visual cues that make the world feel lived-in. Oversized ornaments, glowing tunnels, whimsical rooms. It’s all built for photography, but it’s also built for wandering. You notice something new in every corner. It’s easy to lose track of time in here, especially with the mall’s holiday noise buzzing just outside the walls.

Most guests spend about 30 minutes in Santaland and close to an hour in Snowday, though you can linger longer. Both are stroller-friendly, ADA-accessible, and located on Level 1 next to Banana Republic. Restrooms sit nearby inside the mall. Parking is free, though the Blue and Purple garages are the closest and tend to fill up fast on weekends.

How Much Does It Cost

Santaland pricing begins at $29.97 for a family of two or $49.95 for a family of four on Value Days (Mondays and Tuesdays, except the week before Christmas). Prices shift by date, group size and the photo package you choose.

Snowday tickets start at $24.99 for adults and $9.99 for children ages 4–12 on Value Mondays & Tuesdays. Children 3 and under get in free. Seniors and active military receive discounted admission.

If you want to experience both (and you should), combo pricing generally starts around $49.98 for one adult and one child. Additional photo packages, digital galleries and premium Santa upgrades vary daily. Always check the official site for the latest pricing.

Good to Know Before You Go

Arrive within 15 minutes of your time slot. If you arrive too early and you may be asked to wait, too late and you might miss your window.

Tickets are non-refundable, though you can request a time-slot change if availability allows.

Weekends and evenings closer to Christmas sell out quickly; Value Days are the best deal and the easiest experience.

On select Wednesday nights after 5 p.m., pets are allowed for Santa photos (pet ticket required).

Expect check-in lines during peak hours and allow extra time for parking.
