EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Endeavors, a national non-profit for veterans, first responders and active military, has opened a health and wellness center in East El Paso.
The grand opening celebration happened on Thursday, Nov. 13, at The Endeavors Health and Wellness Center, located at 12135 Pebble Hills Blvd. Local leaders, including state Senator Cesar Blanco, D-El Paso, and City Rep. for District 5 Ivan Niño, were in attendance for the ceremony.

The new center is a “first-of-its-kind” in El Paso and was modeled after its flagship in San Antonio, according to the news release by Endeavors.
Endeavors Health and Wellness Center includes the following services for its members:
On-site wellness services supporting physical, emotional, and mental health
A fully equipped fitness center with adaptive equipment for injuries and disabilities
The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic, providing confidential mental health care for Veterans, active-duty service members, and their families
Peaceful outdoor spaces for movement, mindfulness, and reflection
Community gathering areas to connect, collaborate, and celebrate
“A proud part of the El Paso community since 2017, Endeavors continues its mission to improve the lives of Veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, their families and their support networks. From the fitness floor to the therapy rooms, every space was designed to inspire hope, healing, and movement. The Center stands as a testament to the power of collaboration in improving access to vital resources and creating a welcoming environment where every person can thrive,” read the news release.
Endeavors CEO Chip Fulghum says this is an exciting expansion for the organization as they continue to serve not only veterans, but also first responders, active-duty members and their immediate family.
“Endeavors is just going to continue to grow and expand this wellness concept, which brings those five basic keys to wellness together. We’re excited about where we’re gonna go next, but we’re most excited to serve the community of El Paso, where you’ve got not only 75,000 veterans, not only about 6,000 first responders, not only about 28,000 active duty, but you’ve got their families here as well. So, when you multiply all that out, you’ve got about the opportunity to serve over 200,000 people in this community and that’s what excites us today,” Fulghum said.
Fulghum added that El Paso is one of the fastest-growing areas for veterans, first responders and their families to live in, and felt it was “natural” to open the facility in the Sun City.
Participants at the event experienced the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department Color Guard, who performed the Presentation of Colors and were given a guided tour of the new center.
Those who are interested in signing up for a membership at the Endeavors Health and Wellness Center can visit in person to begin services.
