Blake Krass breaks down the best college football player prop bets to consider for the Texas Longhorns vs. Georgia Bulldogs matchup.

Week 12 of the college football season has a great slate of Saturday games, headlined by an SEC matchup between the Texas Longhorns and the Georgia Bulldogs.

Georgia enters as 6.5-point favorites, with the total set at O/U 48.5 points. These are the best college football player prop bets to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook for Texas vs. Georgia, one of the biggest games of the day.

Texas vs. Georgia Player Props

Chauncey Bowens Anytime TD (+105)

Chauncey Bowens has emerged as Georgia’s top running back in recent weeks. He entered the season as the backup to Nate Frazier in the Georgia backfield. However, Frazier has serious fumble issues, and Bowens has proven to be the more explosive option as well. Against Mississippi State last week, Frazier took the majority of the carries in what was a blowout game script for Georgia. However, in games where Georgia needs an offensive spark, Bowens has been the go-to back. Bowens has also gotten the majority of the red zone carries, likely related to Frazier’s fumble issues. Bowens has scored a touchdown in four of his past five games and has a great chance to find the end zone against Texas as well.

Arch Manning 2+ TD Passes (+152)

Arch Manning has been starting to find his groove over the last several weeks. The Texas quarterback faced intense scrutiny early in the season after failing to live up to the high expectations set for him. Manning was really struggling to read defenses and make throws on target. However, over the past two weeks, Steve Sarkisian has unlocked something in Manning. He threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns against Mississippi State in a comeback victory. He then took it to No. 9 Vanderbilt last time out, throwing for 328 yards and three touchdowns. Following those two great performances, Manning had a bye week to prepare for this game.

The way to beat Georgia is through the air, especially on short-yardage plays. The Bulldogs are towards the top of the nation in tackles for loss, but are among the worst in the nation in sacks. The skillset of the Georgia front seven lends itself to busting through the line on running plays and getting stuffs. However, those same players struggle to generate a pass rush. Georgia doesn’t have an elite secondary, which means they will get burned if Georgia can’t get pressure on Manning. Texas is coming off a bye week, and Steve Sarkisian should have come up with a great plan to beat the Georgia defense. Texas’ season is on the line here, and Manning should be able to throw for at least two scores for the third straight game.
