PROSPER – State-ranked Prosper stayed undefeated on the season, getting two touchdown passes from quarterback Braeden Imhoff while tailback Bryace Robinson rushed for a team-high 101 yards as Prosper defeated Plano 45-14 in District 6-6A play on Friday night at Prosper ISD Stadium.
Prosper (6-0, 4-0 in 6-6A) looked the part of the state’s eighth-ranked team in 6A, scoring on the game’s opening play on a 68-yard run by Imhoff. Imhoff (270 total yards) added a pair of touchdown throws in the second quarter, including a 65-yard scoring strike to Lathon Latiolais, as Prosper ran out to a 31-3 halftime lead.
Prosper’s defense also had a solid game with six sacks and even got involved in the scoring on a 50-yard fumble return for a score by Tyson Stiggers. Tyler Albert, Elliott Brown and Zaden Krempin also added touchdowns for Prosper.
Plano (3-3, 2-3 in 6-6A) got its lone touchdown on a 3-yard run by Chance Culley in the fourth quarter, with Ryan Weaver adding a pair of field goals. Culley finished with a game-high 103 yards rushing to go with 56 yards receiving.
