After leading a resurgent Texas football offense in his last two outings, Arch Manning produced middling results in the Longhorns’ 35-10 loss to Georgia on Saturday night.Â
Manning completed 27Â of his 43Â passes for 251 yards with one touchdown. He also threw a costly red zone interception, sailing a pass over the middle that was intended for DeAndre Moore Jr.Â
The Longhorns’ wideouts didn’t do Manning any favors, dropping a handful of catchable passes, particularly in the first half, when the Bulldogs limited Texas to just three points.Â
Manning’s lone touchdown of the day came on a 7-yard toss to Ryan Wingo, who Manning targeted 13 times for 62Â yards.Â
Crucially, Georgia erased any ability for Manning to make plays with his feet. The Bulldogs sacked Texas’ quarterback three times, leaving him with -17Â rushing yards on the night.Â
