Javier Flores, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Pastor Greg Massey will officiate. Born on July 2, 1935, in San Antonio, Texas, Javier was the son of the late Pablo and Apolonia Flores. He lived a life marked by generosity and a servant’s heart. His greatest joy was serving others through mission trips and doing God’s work. Deeply involved in his church community, Javier’s faith guided every aspect of his life. He was known for his love of cooking and his favorite pastime – fishing. Javier touched and blessed many lives with his kindness, and his presence will be deeply missed. Javier was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Loren Flores; his son, Xavier Flores Jr.; three sisters; and two brothers. He is survived by his children, Leticia Lerma (David), Cynthia Wilson (Greg), Lisa Maldonado (Frank) and Xavier Flores. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Virginia Acosta and Eva Villanueva.
