NORTH RICHLAND HILLS – Dana Lea Smith, lovingly known to her family and friends as “Nini”, passed away surrounded by those she loved. Funeral Service: 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2025, in Greenwood’s Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76107; visitation will take place one hour prior to service. Interment is to follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. Born in Teague, Texas, Dana lived a life full of creativity, kindness, faith, and devotion to her family. A devoted Christian, she lived her life guided by love, compassion, and gratitude, sharing her faith through her actions and the way she cared for others. She had a special gift for making the world more beautiful through her painting, sewing, and embroidery – talents she shared generously with those around her. Dana’s greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her laughter, warmth, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing that her love and faith will continue to live on in the memories and handmade treasures she leaves behind.
