Post Malone has been announced as the musical act that will perform at halftime of the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Malone, 30, grew up in Grapevine and is a longtime fan of the Cowboys. He is also one of the most commercially successful artists of his generation with three No. 1 albums, numerous chart-topping singles and 18 Grammy nominations.

The Thanksgiving Day game marks the official start of one of the largest and longest-running annual fundraisers of its kind, the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign.

A Cowboys tradition for 29 years, the halftime show puts a national spotlight on the needs of millions during the holiday season and all year long, issuing a rallying cry to donate to The Salvation Army.
