AUSTIN, Texas (KWTX) — Austin police have arrested a man in connection with a homicide that occurred Thursday evening on Victory Drive, according to the Austin Police Department.
Police found Robert Wentworth dead inside a large cardboard box behind a bus stop at 4107 Victory Dr. around 5:22 p.m. Nov. 13.
Investigators learned that Wentworth had been living with Aidan Hunt, 24, who lived just a few hundred yards from where the victim was found.
Police searched Hunt’s home and found evidence related to the murder. Hunt was charged with first-degree murder in Wentworth’s death.
The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force arrested Hunt Sunday on Lamar Boulevard without incident.
