EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Public Service Board — the governing body for El Paso Water — will begin its annual budget process this week.

The board will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20 at the utility’s main office, 1154 Hawkins Blvd.

Staff will present budget priorities and proposed rates that will go into effect on May 1, if they are approved in January.

The PSB will review the stormwater operating and capital budgets and the water and wastewater operating and capital budgets during the meeting.

Members of the public can sign up to speak in-person. The public will also have an opportunity to provide public comment on the proposed budgets and rates at the PSB meetings on Dec. 10 and Jan. 14.
