Have you ever fallen victim to the dreaded holiday-shopping procrastination curse — that moment when panic strikes the day before Mr. Claus shimmies down the chimney and your gift stash is nothing but…air? Fret not. Small Business Saturday is swooping in to save the season (it lands on November 29 this year), and we’ve rounded up some of San Antonio’s coolest boutiques to help you cross off your list early, all while showing some love to the local shops that make this city shine.
Sunset & Co.
Need a double shot of Christmas cheer? Head to Sunset & Co., a hidden Alamo Heights gem where “just browsing” quickly turns into “take my money.” This woman-owned boutique is packed with artfully curated gifts for everyone on your list — think artisan bow ties and Porsche coffee-table books for him, plus chic earrings, handbags, apparel, and plenty more for her (and the little ones, too).
Capri by Sunset & Co.
While you’re at Sunset & Co., pop next door to its chic sister store, Capri. True to its name, Capri channels a breezy, feminine la dolce vita spirit. The shop bursts with color — radiant dresses, playful handbags, and statement accessories lining every wall — making it a must-visit whether you’re hunting for the perfect holiday-party look, a gift for your bestie, or a little something fabulous just for you.

Very That
Where else can you find concha mousepads, Pedro Pascal tumblers, and Bad Bunny pink car coasters all in one place? It’s all thanks to Very That, San Antonio’s self-described “one-stop chicana shop.” It’s simply impossible not to leave the woman-owned and operated shop in a bad mood, thanks to cheeky merchandise like a sticker that says, “Drink More Water Bish!” to heart-shaped chiflada earrings (we recommend wearing those to a certain West Side bar), this boutique is the epitome of puro San Antonio.
Feliz Modern Pop
Speaking of puro San Antonio, this Pearl boutique always stays true to Alamo City culture. “Ask me about our lord and savior, Bad Bunny,” one hat for sale reads, while a trucker hat is emblazoned with, “This is my grito hat.” Feliz Modern begs for an in-store visit with colorful apparel and merchandise that are a treat for the senses. There are Mexican hot chocolate scented candles, a humorous dead plant society ornament (for the green thumb-averse), a Cowboy Carter-inspired Beyonce mug, and more. And we’ve just touched the tip of the iceberg.
Honey Mercantile
A hidden gem near the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort, Honey Mercantile is a slice of pure San Antonio sophistication. There’s an assortment of Pickwick and Co. candles (even one with a scent dedicated to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce), kitchen accessories, items from the elegant Los Angeles-based boutique Flamingo Estate, handbags, and seasonal apparel that you can’t find anywhere else in town. Don’t forget to grab a Gilmore Girls sticker on your way out. Honey Mercantile also has a small coffee stand in-store where you can order a latte and shop. We think Rory and Lorelai Gilmore would approve.

Adelante Boutique
A San Antonio favorite since 1975, Adelante is one of the city’s longest-running boutiques for good reason. From Shark Tank–featured products to Oprah-approved picks, their colorful, authentic apparel makes an instant impression. It’s the go-to place to find something special for the woman in your life with standout style.
Penny Lane Boutique
Luxury is Penny Lane Boutique’s middle name. The Alamo Heights boutique has an incredible array of high-end fashion finds for the customer who knows what they want, with a range of women’s clothing from upscale dresses, low-key tailored dress shirts, elegant scarves, double-breasted blazers, chic pink workwear jackets, and more.
