UTA wrapped up its 2025 Homecoming celebration, which ran from Nov. 9 to 15 under the “The Wizard of Oz” theme.

The week was packed with events showcasing school spirit and unifying the community.

Hosted by EXCEL Campus Activities, the Homecoming Bash, one of the biggest UTA events, got students hyped by featuring artists like Flippa T, BunnaB and Mariah the Scientist.

The excitement culminated with major weekend events, including the Homecoming Parade and the UTA men’s basketball game, which also included the Homecoming coronation.

During halftime of the men’s basketball game, nursing sophomore Jodie Orogun and interior design junior Jakinda Opondo were announced as the 2025 Homecoming king and queen.
