FRISCO – Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb said he and fellow wideout George Pickens missed their 10 p.m. Pacific Coast time curfew the night before Monday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
“I was out a little late, after curfew,” Lamb said following Thursday’s practice.
Lamb and Pickens didn’t play in the first series of the Raiders game as a form of discipline. It didn’t affect them as Pickens caught nine passes for 144 yards with a touchdown and Lamb followed that up with five catches for 66 yards and a score in a 33-16 win.
Lamb said the pair had dinner and a few drinks at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa Las Vegas before heading back to the team hotel, nearly 20 minutes away at the Durango Resort.

Lamb denied he was throwing up at 7:30 a.m. the morning of the game, a rumor which caused a social media stir.
“That’s a disrespect to even suggest that,” Lamb said. “I know how to hold my liquor.”
Lamb wanted to clear up the mystery as to why the pair missed the first series of the game. Team officials have said Lamb and Pickens “missed a few things” but wouldn’t elaborate.
After the Raiders game, Pickens said he didn’t start because of how the Raiders lined up. When told coach Brian Schottenheimer said he was late, the receiver said he would talk to the head coach.
Speculation about why the two players were benched at the start of the game began Tuesday, when social media posts circulated the two were hanging out late.
Lamb met with a small group of reporters to clear up any confusion about what happened.
Pickens hasn’t commented any further on the reasons why he was benched, following Lamb’s comments.
