LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock County Clerk Kelly Pinion announced today that she would not seek re-election next year after being the longest-serving official in Lubbock County.
Her current term ends on Dec. 31, 2026, but one candidate has already announced her campaign to take Pinion’s place.
Kerri Padilla is running as a Democrat for the clerk position next year. Her campaign announcement said she’s running on a service-first vision.
