Lubbock, TX — September 7, 2025, a man sustained injuries due to a car versus pedestrian accident at around 2:16 a.m. along Avenue Q.
Investigators said in their statements that the incident happened at the Avenue Q and 23rd Street intersection, just south of 19th Street.

According to officials, a 30-year-old man was on foot at the time. While along Avenue Q, a southbound Chevy Camaro struck the man. The pedestrian was seriously injured as a result. No other injuries were reported.
