Fundraising efforts are happening throughout the month for the annual Plano Rockin’ Christmas where the community distributes gift cards and donations to area families in need for the holiday season.

The Chocolate Shoppe in Plano will be donating a portion of its sales to Plano Rockin’ Christmas Wednesday to kick off the fundraising drive.

On Tuesday, November 25, city, police, and fire officials and some high school athletes will be running food at Culver’s in Plano and taking donations from 5 to 8 p.m.

Trendy Finds will be raffling off a vintage Santa, with proceeds supporting the Rockin’ Christmas mission. Additionally, donation boxes have been placed at area businesses.

The Plano Rockin’ Christmas event is on Friday December 5th beginning at 6:30 p.m. in downtown Plano. It features a lighted parade that drive through most of the town.
