Fort Worth police are investigating a Thursday night shooting that left one woman dead and another injured.
According to a news release, police were called at about 6:30 p.m. to the 2500 block of Northwest 24th Street on reports of a shooting. On arrival, police found two women with gunshot wounds.
One of the women had sustained a gunshot wound to her upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating the shooting and a suspect has not been arrested, police said.
