LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Texas Tech hosted a symposium to introduce the university’s plan to launch a Uniformed Services Center to support military personnel, first responders and their families.
The symposium, held at the United Supermarkets Arena, brought together the uniformed services community to mark the first steps of the university’s vision.
The creation of the Texas Tech Uniformed Services Center will provide members of the military, first responders and their families easier access to educational opportunities.
Featured keynote speakers included: Retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Wendy Masiello, Provost and Senior Vice President Ronald Hendrick, former Chancellor Dr. Tedd Mitchell, Retired U.S. Army Sgt. Greg Dotson and Lt. Cmdr. D’Juan Wilcher, USNR.
