COLORADO CITY, Texas (KCBD) – The Idalou Wildcats (9-3) extended their winning streak to seven as they ended the Cinderella run from San Angelo Grape Creek in dominating fashion, 59-12.
Idalou’s dual-threat QB Kamdon Lutrick was far too much for the Eagles. The Wildcats went up 8-0 with a QB keeper. Minutes later, he connected with Hunter McClendon for the 15-0 lead. The score became 21-0 with a TD pass to Caleb Hollingsworth. Lutrick then raced in for another score in the second, to give the Green & Gold a 29-0 lead.
The Wildcats will now face the No. 6 Canadian Wildcats, the same team who eliminated them last year.
