ABILENE, Texas (KCBD) – The dream season came to an end for the Lubbock-Cooper Liberty Patriots (10-2), who fell at the wrong side of a back-and-forth showdown- losing to Graham 35-28.
Liberty scored first when QB Colton Bichard would connect with WR Levi Walker, giving the Patriots a 7-0 lead. From there, the Steers outscored Liberty 35-21 en route to the win. Next week, Graham will face No. 1 Midland Greenwood, the only team to have beaten the Patriots during the regular season.
