As we head down the home stretch of the 2025 college football season, there are still multiple scenarios in which several Big 12 football teams can make the conference championship next month at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. BYU and Texas Tech are the only programs who can clinch a spot in the 2025 Big 12 Football Championship in Week 13. Along with BYU and Texas Tech, there are four other teams still in the mix to make the Big 12 Championship Game: Arizona State, Cincinnati, Houston and Utah.

It’s going to be a great weekend of Big 12 football with BYU vs. Cincinnati highlighting the day on Saturday. Also, Arizona State—still clinging to an outside championship shot—travels to Colorado in a game that suddenly has massive consequences across the league. Meanwhile, Utah remains alive and welcomes Kansas State in a physical late-November test, while Houston hosts TCU in a matchup that could either keep the Cougars’ thin hopes alive or mathematically eliminate them. With so many paths still in play and tiebreakers looming large, Week 13 sets the stage for one of the most chaotic and entertaining finishes in college football. Let the scoreboard watching begin.
