Luke Beck, age 77, passed away on November 17, 2025. In North Richland Hills, Texas surrounded by his family. Luke Beck was born on Monday February 2, 1948, in Granbury, Texas to Don Elder Beck and Ferrell Wilson. Luke attended the University of Texas at Arlington from 1966 through 1970, obtaining a degree in Psychology. During college, Luke was in the Corps of Cadets at UTA, and was a member of the Sam Houston Rifles, known as “the Jodies”, the elite precision drill team. In the summers, Luke worked at Six Flags Over Texas in the live show department. He was commissioned into the Army in March 1971 where he served in Germany as an Armor officer and Tank Unit Commander. He was honorably discharged in December 1976. Luke was extremely patriotic and possessed a love of the military and veterans.
