LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Showers and thunderstorms moved across the region Sunday.
Threats included quarter‑size hail, heavy rain with localized flooding, and damaging winds; a few severe storms were the result.

Storms have moved out of the viewing area as of 9 p.m. Skies should begin to clear from west to east after midnight as a Pacific cold front passes.

The forecast also includes areas of fog for most locations overnight, with improvement after midnight as the front moves through.

Temperatures will fall into the 30s overnight on the western portion of the viewing area, where clouds thin, and into the upper 40s near the Caprock, where clouds linger.

Monday, west winds and abundant sunshine will push highs near 70° for some near and off the Caprock and into the mid‑60s near the Texas/New Mexico state line.
