Two people — including a victim and a suspect shot by officers — died following the shooting in the 2000 block of Commerce Street, Dallas police said in a news release.

Officers responded to the disturbance call at about 2 a.m. where police said multiple people were shot. Police said the officers confronted an armed suspect while at the location.

Police said the suspect and a victim died at the scene, while others were taken to a hospital in stable condition. Police did not clarify how many people were injured or taken to the hospital.
