A festive two-day celebration where the Port A community gathers to run, laugh, and give back to support local children.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Port Aransas Turkey Trot is just around the corner! A Thanksgiving tradition, the Port A community comes together to move, laugh, celebrate, and give back.
Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church is inviting you out to a Turkey Trot, a race for everyone – from toddlers to serious athletes on Wednesday, Nov. 26. Whether you’re running, walking, or strolling with friends and family, it’s all about having a good time for a great cause at the Port Aransas Turkey Trot. There will be prizes given to runners. There will be three different running categories.
After the run, stick around for a fun-filled morning of food trucks, inflatables for the kids, music, lawn games, a vendor village, and more!
The race will be held at Palm Plaza at Palmilla Beach at 258 Snapdragon Port Aransas. All proceeds from the 2025 Turkey Trot will go to sustain programs and provide scholarships for Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Day School.
Turkey Trot organizer Ryan Richter said, “It is our one and only day school in Port Aransas. It’s been open for 27 years and it is a pillar of our community. We couldn’t be Port Aransas without function.”
But that’s not all, the fun starts early with Gobble on the Grand on Tuesday, Nov. 25. A free event for everyone, there will be live music, a bounce house, Turkey Bowling (a Port Aransas tradition!), food trucks, s’mores & fire pits, toddler soft play, shopping from local vendors, and more.
