A man was found dead inside a clothing donation box north of Houston early Monday morning, according to the office of Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman.
In a social media post, Herman’s office said fire department responders received a “distress call” about a man trapped inside a donation box at 6535 N. Grand Parkway West, near Spring.
According to the post, first responders were able to gain access to the donation box, but the man inside was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the man had not been released as of late Monday morning. Herman’s office did not indicate whether foul play was suspected to be involved in the man’s death.
