Guns N’ Roses’ newly announced 2026 world tour will include a stop at the Alamodome.

The ’80s hard rock band will play the Alamo City on Wednesday, Sept. 16. San Antonio is one of only two Texas dates, the other being in Arlington. General ticket sales will get underway at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5. Fanclub presale starts Tuesday, Dec. 2.

VIP packages also will be available, including premium seats, behind-the-scenes tours, invitation to a pre-show VIP lounge and exclusive merchandise.

In tandem with the presale, Guns N’ Roses also is releasing two new singles, “Nothin” and “Atlas” on Geffen Records, the band’s first releases since 2023. The group will perform the singles on the upcoming tour alongside hits including “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” “Patience,” “Paradise City,” “Don’t Cry,” “Welcome to the Jungle” and “November Rain.”

The 2023 tracks “The General” and “Perhaps” also will make appearances, along with fan-favorite deep-cuts, according to details shared by the band.

Fresh on the heels of another massive world tour this year, GNR’s 2026 jaunt will include more stops in South and Central America along with Europe before the North American leg. The band also embarked on a world tour in 2024, selling 1.4 million tickets and marking its largest tour to date.

Guns N’ Roses has the distinction of having the best-selling U.S. debut album of all time with the 1987 release of Appetite for Destruction, which included “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” “Nightrain” and “Paradise City.”

Bassist Duff McKagan, guitarist Slash and frontman Axl Rose are the remaining original members in the band. Slash and McKagan rejoined in 2016 after the act’s induction into and reunion at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame. Slash had been absent from the lineup from 1996 to 2016 after escalating tensions with Rose.

McKagan and Slash used that hiatus to form the rock band Velvet Revolver with fellow GNR founding member Izzy Stradlin, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist. Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland, drummer Matt Sorum of The Cult and Dave Kushner of punk band Wasted Youth also joined the lineup, turning it into something of a hard rock super group.

Slash, McKagan and Rose are joined on GNR’s current lineup by rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Isaac Carpenter (Awolnation, Loudermilk) and keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese. Reed, though not an original member, is the longest running member aside from Rose.
