The best news about this home raffle in Austin is that it’s for a great cause. According to KXAN, 10% of every ticket sold will go to the Central Texas Food Bank and some of the proceeds will go to cover the cost of the home which is approximately $700,000.

As we all know the need at our Texas food banks is high, so a fundraiser like this is exactly what they need right now.

The drawing for the home in east Austin will take place on May 15, 2026. The owner says they need to sell a minimum of 135,000 tickets. If they don’t reach that number, the winner will take home half of the ticket sales.
