COLLEGE STATION — Four Texas A&M football players were listed Tuesday on the SEC availability report ahead of Friday’s Lone Star Showdown.
Starting running back Le’Veon Moss stood out amongst the group, listed as doubtful.
According to head coach Mike Elko, Moss’s status is iffy for the game. “We’ll see. Probably not, but we’ll see,” Elko said Monday.
Moss suffered a leg injury during the Aggies’ victory over Florida on Oct. 11 and has missed the last five games since then. Up to that point, the preseason All-SEC selection had accumulated 389 rushing yards on 70 carries and scored six touchdowns in six games.
More availability reports will be made public before Texas A&M plays Texas at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Others on the report include linebacker Scooby Williams (DOUBTFUL) and safety Bryce Anderson (OUT). Safety Rashad Johnson Jr. was listed as OUT as well.
Of the two names listed for Texas on the report, the most notable one is linebacker Anthony Hill Jr, who was listed as questionable. Linebacker Ty’Anthony Smith was listed as OUT – 1st half due to a targeting call in the second half of last week’s win over Arkansas.
