Authorities are investigating after a woman’s body found floating in Lake Ray Hubbard on Tuesday morning was retrieved several hours later, Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesperson Jason Evans said.
Officials were dispatched at about 10:09 a.m. after reports of a body being spotted in the lake along Interstate 30 between Dalrock and Horizon roads.
Crews from multiple agencies, including Dallas police and fire, worked together to retrieve the body from the lake, police said.
After retrieving the body, officials were able to determine it was a woman, who remains unidentified.

Lake Ray Hubbard is northeast of Dallas and extends throughout Dallas, Kaufman, Rockwall and Collin counties. It spans about 22,000 acres.
No further details about the incident were immediately available.
It remains unclear if foul play is suspected.
