North Texans should keep their coats handy on Thanksgiving and be ready to pull out an umbrella as we head into the holiday weekend.

No rain is expected on Thursday, though calm winds and clouds may be present toward the end of the day, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.

The high temperature should stay in the low 60s on Thursday and upper 50s on Friday. Chances of showers and thunderstorms will rise to 80% Friday night, according to the weather service.

Saturday could see another drop in temperature, with lows in the mid-30s, and a continued chance of rain, decreasing from 70% to 30% as the day goes on.
