As we get ready for another Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving game today, let’s look back at all the halftime guests throughout the years.

Back in 1997, the Dallas Cowboys decided to amp up their Thanksgiving halftime show. The annual game is one of the most watched games for the team each and every year. Throughout the years, country has dominated. However pop acts and a few rock bands have made the cut. See if you remember everybody below.

Many of the Dallas Cowboys halftime performers are actually Cowboys fans themselves. However, it maybe tough to find a bigger Dallas Cowboys fan in the music buisness than Post Malone. Kelly Clarkson maybe able to argue her love since she did get to make the Dallas Cowboys anthem back in the day,

Obviously none of us know how long the game clock will go on Thanksgiving. With the Cowboys game starting at 3:30 central time on Thanksgiving, halftime is assumed to start around 5PM. The game will air on CBS this year with former Dallas Cowboy Tony Romo on the call. This will be the first Dallas Cowboys game since Dak Prescott broke Tony Romo’s all time passing yards record.

Yeah we’re talking about playoffs. ESPN currently has our odds at 17%, every win matters at this point. The Dallas Cowboys will play back to back Thursday games. After Thanksgiving they head to Detroit for Thursday Night Football next week.

Every Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving MVP So Far

My favorite annual Thanksgiving tradition is coming up and that would be the Dallas Cowboys game. Back in the day, we all remember John Madden calling the game and giving out the ‘turkey leg’ award. The award has changed names a few times, but this is all about who had the greatest impact on Thanksgiving Day with a star on their helmet.
