If you’re starting off your Thanksgiving morning watching the Macy’s parade while the turkey roasts, the weather is fully cooperating. New York City is calm winds that shouldn’t impact the balloons today.

Here in the South Plains, temperatures will start chilly but quickly warm up into the low 60s. Light northwest winds at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday begins the same way: mild, quiet, and stead. Early in the morning, winds sit around 5 to 10 mph, but by midday, southerly will start to blow 15-20 mph with the occasional gust near 30 mph.
But the bigger story happens on Saturday.
After a cold front pushes through flipping winds to the northeast at 15 to 20 mph, gusting near 25 mph. Temperatures will remain in the upper 50s to low 60s.
