College basketball’s Feast Week festivities are underway, and as part of the Thanksgiving bounty, the Florida Gators will be facing off with the TCU Horned Frogs in the Rady Children’s Invitational in San Diego, California. Ahead of the action, the betting odds have been released and the Orange and Blue is heavily favored in the matchup.
The eighth-ranked Gators come in with a 4-1 record, the only blemish suffered during the season opener in Las Vegas against the now third-ranked Arizona Wildcats. Other than a scare against the Florida State Seminoles over two weeks ago, Florida has cruised to victory in the other three wins.
The Horned Frogs are 3-2 early on in the season, but took the now-sixth-ranked Michigan Wolverines to the brink in a 67-63 loss at home a couple of weeks ago. TCU could be a dangerous opponent for the Gators despite the lopsided odds.

The Gators have one of the best front courts in the country, and compared to the average-sized Horned Frogs — they have a pair of players listed at 6-foot-10-inches or taller — they should not have any issues continuing their dominance. The key will be getting the back court of Boogie Fland and Xavian Lee going.
It is hard to bank on the back court finally gelling on the West Coast on Thanksgiving, but Florida’s front three will bruise their way to the team’s fifth win.
PREDICTION: Florida 78, TCU 63
