LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The South Plains Food Bank is seeking volunteers and monetary donations during the holiday season as it works to feed thousands of people across 19 surrounding counties.
While the food bank cannot accept your leftovers, it has other critical needs during this time of year.
Dina Jeffries, CEO of the South Plains Food Bank, said community support is essential to the organization’s mission.
“We will continue to fight the good fight and again, just very thankful that we live in a community that not only sees the need but they continue to support us and I know that will continue to happen,” Jeffries said.
People can sign up to volunteer or make a monetary donation at spfb.org.
