North Texans could be in for a wet, cold weekend coming out of Thanksgiving.
The holiday weekend could see rain ahead of a front expected to bring the coldest air felt so far this season.
Rain chances will come late Friday into Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, widespread rain could crop up in North and Central Texas, with up to an inch falling in some places.

Morning temperatures could be near freezing between Sunday and Tuesday. Highs are in the 40s.
