Anthony Davis is set to make his return to the Dallas Mavericks lineup against the Los Angeles Lakers, a person with knowledge of the team’s thinking confirmed to The Dallas Morning News.

The 10-time All-Star has been out of the lineup since suffering a left calf strain against the Indiana Pacers on Oct. 29.

Davis participated in a full practice Wednesday for the first time since his injury and was listed as questionable for Friday’s game at Crypto.com Arena, where he hasn’t played since the Mavericks acquired him in February.

It’s been nearly a month since Davis’ calf injury and the Mavericks at 5-14 cling to the bottom of the Western Conference standings, but they hope he can provide some relief on both ends of the floor.
