The Texas Longhorns 2025 season wraps up tonight at home against bitter rival Texas A&M. The Aggies are unbeaten and No. 3 in the country. Meanwhile, the Longhorns are hoping a win and some chaos will let them slip into the college football playoff.

The Longhorns offense is playing the best it has all year with Arch Manning scoring three ways last Saturday against Arkansas. The redshirt sophomore threw four touchdown passes, rushed for another and even caught at TD from Parker Livingstone.

Defensively, the Texas defense has struggled at key times this season. Georgia QB Gunner Stockton picked UT apart. But the defense settled down (for the most part) against the Hogs last week and hope to carry that momentum into the Aggies game.

The Aggies best win is a 41-40 victory at Notre Dame. A&M’s second best win is against LSU, the game that got Brian Kelly fired. If the Aggies played Texas schedule, would they be undefeated? There’s no way of knowing, unless of course they can’t beat Texas.
