Happy Southern Holidays! Rustic Texas, USA flag craft created from old wooden boards and painted red, white, and blue. Christmas decorations: ornaments, pine cones, pine branches, holly, garland, burlap in left corner to form a border.
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — South Central Texas is not expecting a blizzard or temperatures that would remind you of the North Pole, but you will definitely notice cooler temperatures Monday morning.
A daytime high of only 53 is forecast to begin the week, but cloudy skies could also bring scattered showers to the Alamo City. The Hill Country could end up a few degrees warmer, but there is little doubt places like Kerrville, Fredericksburg and Bandera will stay drier.
Over the next couple of nights, temperatures will dip into the upper 30s in the Hill Country with daytime highs mainly in the upper 50s to low 60s across the region.
According to the National Weather Service, most of South Central Texas will face at least a 50% chance of thunderstorms beginning Thursday through early Friday morning.
Stay tuned to 550 KTSA and FM 107.1 for the latest weather conditions.
