AUSTIN, Texas — A familiar Austin favorite reopened in a new location last week, welcoming visitors and their spray paint cans.

The graffiti park known as HOPE Outdoor Gallery, which closed in 2019, is now on 741 Dalton Lane near the Austin-Bergstrom Airport, KUT News reported. The iconic spot originally sat in the Clarksville neighborhood close to the UT Austin campus and closed because of luxury condo construction.

The resurrected gallery sprawls across 17 acres and includes a cafe and a shop that sells spray paint. Along with select mural walls, a 6,000-square-foot indoor gallery helps display pieces from over 30 artists.

Visitors are welcome to enjoy artwork and spray paint the outdoor walls for free. The space also plans to offer workshops, demonstrations, private events and more in the future, according to its website.
