Authorities said four people were arrested after they found drugs, stolen vehicles and two secret tunnels at a home in southeast Harris County.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Four people were arrested during a southeast-side drug bust on the southeast side of Houston.
According to the Harris County Precinct 8 Constable’s Office, the raid went down on Nov. 20.
A law enforcement team was conducting surveillance on a house on Kirkdale Drive, just inside the Loop near the Gulf Freeway, as part of a long-term narcotics investigation.
Eventually, they got search warrants and showed up at the house. When Precinct 8 deputies got there, they said two people tried to run but were quickly caught.
Authorities said three stolen vehicles were found — a car and two motorcycles.Â
Precinct 8 said they also ended up finding about 80 grams of meth, half a gram of cocaine and three guns.Â
Investigators then discovered two secret tunnels under the house and a woman was hiding in one of them. They think the tunnels were used to hide people and drugs.
They also think the people living at the house were stealing utilities.
