Everyone’s favorite annual moment of judgment is here: Spotify Wrapped Day. You’ve likely already spent today scrolling through post after post of everyone either pretending to be shocked by the outcomes, or unabashedly owning that they spent 4,000 minutes listening to whatever “beige suburban grocery store on a sunday-core” entails.
In many ways, it’s one of the few times you can gauge who someone really is. They’ll hope that you believe that one Taylor Swift record made it to their most-listened albums of the year because they “share an account” with their girlfriend, or that they only listened to a single from Jelly Roll 150 times in an ironic way. Right, right.
We aren’t sure what Dallas’ listening habits as a whole say other than the city didn’t leave us with any kind of unsuspecting revelation – Drake, Swift and Bad Bunny dominated as expected, all of whom released wildly successful projects this year. Disregard the city’s top album, though. We, uh, share an account with our little sister Fort Worth, it appears.
