PLANO – The ArtCentre of Plano (ACP) will host a special “Artists & Chefs” cocktail reception December 17 and 18, showcasing the work of local visual and culinary artists. This event is part of a new television series filmed entirely in Texas highlighting the state’s thriving creative communities.
Featured artists include Kelly Steller Hrad, Tony Holman, Jamaison Schuler, and Patience Newsome. Their artwork will be displayed throughout the reception, giving attendees the opportunity to experience and purchase pieces directly from the artists. A portion of art sales from the evening will be donated to support the ACP’s programs.
Guests will also enjoy craft cocktails and elevated appetizers prepared by renowned Chef Jorg Fercher. A festive, Christmas-themed tablescape will be on display and offered through a silent auction. Proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the ArtCentre, supporting ongoing exhibitions and community programs.
The reception offers a unique opportunity to celebrate both culinary and visual arts in Plano. Footage captured during the event will be featured in the television series, highlighting the city’s vibrant arts scene and community engagement. Attendees will be able to connect with local artists, chefs, and fellow supporters in an immersive seasonal experience.
