SANTA TERESA, NEW MEXICO (KFOX14/CBS4) — US Customs and Border Protection officers working in the El Paso field office announced on Wednesday the seizure of over 20lbs of methamphetamine at the Santa Teresa Port of Entry.

The El Paso CBP field office, in a social media post on Instagram, said agents seized 24.6lbs of methamphetamine at the Santa Teresa Port of Entry.

According to CBP, the seizure of the drugs had a street value of over $95,000.

While it is unclear when the seizure happened and if any arrests were made, KFOX14/CBS4 has reached out to CBP via email for more information on this incident.
