From holiday celebrations to sports gatherings, here is a diverse range of events taking place this weekend in the Houston metro. This list is not comprehensive, and events are subject to change.
Final Draw of the FIFA World Cup 2026
FIFA fans can attend a watch party at Little Woodrows as the 2026 tournament groups are revealed in real time. The FIFA Host Committee will also be present at the celebration.
Santa at Stableside
Stableside at Falcon Landing is hosting the holiday event featuring a meet and greet with Santa, a live DJ, a kids’ craft station and a hot cocoa and cookie table.
Holiday Festival at Levy Park
Enjoy free holiday cheer at Levy Park with two holiday markets, photos with Santa and family-friendly concerts, as well as a craft station and character storytimes.
Ugly Sweater Pickleball Tournament
Participants can take part in an ugly sweater-themed pickleball tournament at Falconwing Park. Ugly sweaters are encouraged but not required.
Magic of Christmas Parade of Lights
The 50th annual Magic of Christmas Parade of Lights will travel through local streets, bringing holiday cheer, sparkling lights, music and festive floats.
‘Oliver Twist’
Performed at Lone Star College-Tomball Performing Arts Center, the musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ novel tells the story of an orphan navigating Victorian England.
Winter Wonderland
Families can celebrate the holiday season with winter-themed crafts and activities at Helen Hall Library.
First Saturday Holiday Market
The holiday market at Hope Farms spotlights local makers, wellness and hands-on learning. Pre-registration is required for gardening workshops and cooking classes.

Flapjack 5K Fun Run/Walk
Individuals can compete in a 5K run, 5K walk or Kids K race for the chance to win free Whataburger for a year. A pancake breakfast will be served after the race.
Manvel Market
Held monthly every first Saturday, the farmers market features local artisans and vendors, handmade goods, kids’ crafts and food trucks.
Lake Houston Christmas Boat Parade
A parade of holiday-decorated boats will depart from the Lake Houston Brewery docks and make their way around the lake, followed by dinner and awards at the brewery.
Santa’s Workshop
Take photos with Santa, make ornaments, decorate cookies and participate in a silent auction at this event hosted by the Humble/Kingwood Houston Metro Go Texan Rodeo Committee.

Kingwood’s Annual Christmas in the Park
The annual event will include photo opportunities with Santa and the Grinch, live entertainment, holiday shopping, food trucks and a Christmas tree lighting.

‘The Nutcracker’
Houston Repertoire Ballet will present its annual production of “The Nutcracker” at the CFISD Visual and Performing Arts Center.
