The Arlington Fire Department had a busy night after two residential fires broke out within two miles of each other.
Fire crews in Arlington responded to two major incidents overnight, according to the Arlington Fire Department.
The first was a one-alarm duplex fire on Lido Lane.
Just before midnight, a second fire broke out at the Shadow Ridge Apartments on the 4000 block of Randy Drive. It became a three-alarm fire, bringing in support from the Pantego Fire Department.
Firefighters brought the apartment blaze under control at 12:29 a.m., nearly an hour after the initial dispatch.
About 15 residents were displaced.
The American Red Cross assisted those affected, and property management worked on temporary relocation plans.
No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported, according to officials. Both fires remain under investigation.
