Fort Worth-based TRP Infrastructure Services, a national provider of roadway pavement marking and traffic control solutions, announced the acquisition of Highway Barricades & Services, LLC, a South Texas-based pavement marking and traffic control firm.

The move expands TRP’s operational footprint across Texas and the Southeast. TRP is a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, a Washington, D.C.-area private investment firm focused on government-regulated industries.

“Their leadership, capabilities, and best-in-class reputation across South Texas will meaningfully enhance our ability to serve customers quickly and effectively across Texas and beyond,” said Andrew Liebert, CEO of TRP.

Headquartered in Corpus Christi, Highway Barricades provides pavement marking and traffic control services across South Texas and is a longtime partner of the Texas Department of Transportation.

The company will operate as TRP’s South Texas division, joining an organization that has supported more than 5,000 highway infrastructure projects, from complex urban interchanges to rural roadways, tollways, bridges, and major thoroughfares, according to a press release.

Michael Lustbader, managing partner at Arlington, said the acquisition marks a key milestone in TRP’s expansion strategy. “As the seventh acquisition by TRP since Arlington’s investment in 2021, Highway Barricades will enable the company to continue its growth momentum and further enhance its value proposition to key government customers.”
