Julian Edlow breaks down a SGP for Cowboys vs. Lions on TNF.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Detroit Lions (8:15pm ET)

The red-hot Cowboys travel to Detroit to face the struggling Lions on TNF in what’s shaping up to be a massive game in the NFC. The total has been bet up to 54.5 in this one, so we’re projecting a high scoring game. The lookahead line from a week ago was Dallas +6, but the Cowboys re-opened catching 3.5/3 this week and are taking significant money — which you can always track using the DraftKings Network Betting Splits.

For my Same Game Parlay on this game, I’m going to focus in on the Cowboys’ offense, which has been humming of late. Dallas is on a three-game win streak, averaging over 29 points during that span, and scoring at least 24 points in each game — including against a solid Philadelphia defense. Scoring points in games played indoors has been what this offense has done all season, as the Cowboys are averaging north of 32 points per game in domes this season (their home games plus the trip to Las Vegas).

Now Dak Prescott and company get to face a Detroit defense that is battling injuries and having difficulty getting stops. During this home stand for the Lions, they’ve given up 27 points to the Giants and 31 points to the Packers, neither of which possess the explosiveness of the Cowboys passing attack. The secondary is particularly hamstrung at the moment, which creates a scary matchup against CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.

Pickens in particular has been on an unstoppable tear, averaging 112.1 receiving yards over his last seven games. He’s had 57 or more yards through the air in every game since the Week 1 opener in Philly. This is a desperation game for Detroit, so rather than take a side in the game, I’ll just back my confidence in Dallas’ offense.

Putting together the Cowboys to score at least 24 points with Pickens to go for 50+ receiving yards gets us to standard -110 juice, and is my SGP for this exciting TNF matchup. The first future I put out this season was the Lions to go UNDER 10.5 wins, so at 7-5 this is a big one for me anyway to root for the Cowboys as the outright side.
