Officials are having a tough night in the first half of the Week 14 game between the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys.

First, the New York office overturned a clear safety in the first quarter after the Lions sacked Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.
Then, in the second quarter, the Cowboys clearly jumped offsides on a third down, yet no flag was thrown.
In fact, it was so clear the Cowboys jumped offsides that Lions quarterback Jared Goff thought he had a free play and threw one up down the sideline to wideout Jameson Williams, only to find out no penalty was called.

Yeah, we don’t know, either.
How an entire field of officials didn’t throw a flag on that play is beyond anyone’s comprehension.

Making matters worse, Williams looked like he was interfered with on the pass from Goff.
Rest assured, if the Lions lose this game, we’ll be re-visiting both blown calls after, and especially the overturned safety, which cost Detroit two points.
