LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A Lubbock grand jury has indicted a 20-year-old man on charges he intentionally tried to hit a police officer with his car.
Bryce Williams was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault against a public servant.
According to court documents, Williams led a police officer on a chase last month and tried to hit the officer in an attempt to get away.
Police said Williams eventually stopped the car near 6th Street and Slide, got out and ran away. He was arrested after officers reported he resisted them further.
Police also reported finding marijuana in his car.
